January 21st is a big day for the New Democratic Party of Quebec.
It has been 9 months since we have started working together to build a party in our image.
The leadership convention will be held January 21st. This will be the time when we find out which candidate will be the one to present our values and ideas in the next provincial elections in October.
I chose to run for the leadership of the party because I believe the NDPQ needs a leader who is energetic, respectful, and listens to the members of the party. The NDPQ must be an open and inclusive party where young people, women, and cultural communities have a voice.
Together, we can build the Quebec of tomorrow.
Under my leadership, the New Democratic Party of Quebec will form a government for all Quebecers, with a sustainable vision for Quebec's diverse regions, for its social and economic policies. This includes a justice system open and accessible to all, especially working for everyone. A New Democratic government must work to promote, with its policies, a strong middle class and help the most marginalized people to be able to move up. It must protect and guaranty the social safety net built by Quebecers that has been, for the past 15 years, undermined more and more by our current government.
For a progressive Quebec with an eye on the future, vote Raphaël!
